October Fundraising Round-Up
British Show Jumping Bristol & Somerset held a charity bingo in Chard they had a marvellous evening and raised an incredible £325. | |
Hursley Pony Club made Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony their Charity of the Year, they did a variety of things to fundraise and made a brilliant amount of £468.35. They have also kindly said that they would keep the collection pots through the following year and continue to support the charity. | Lauren and Megan got their running shoes on and did the Cheltenham half marathon. Their fundraising was through Just Giving and as of the 30/9/2018 they had raised £250. |
The Sheep Shed Shuffle was a brilliant night and everyone came home with a Hannah style smile on their face. A grateful thanks must go to Tom and Ben as they both braved the shave. Their new haircuts were worth their change in appearance as an awesome £5000 was raised!! | |
Next door to Doris lives Isla’s grandfather, Isla was visiting on her birthday and Doris made a surprise visit, helping her good friend Willberry raise £20 for the charity. | Out of the blue a cheque came through the post, this was a very kind donation from Tanya. She has a dressage obsessed daughter who owns Dressageberry. Dressageberry was the travelling support for the Pony Dressage Team as they travelled across Europe, raising £500 in the process! |
Wonderwoman Kathy Boothman has done yet another run for us, the Yorkshire Marathon no less. We are so grateful for the effort that Kathy puts in to help the charity, and £226.57 raised to go towards #makingmemories and #kickingcancersbutt. | |
Mrs Almond organised a Year 6 leaver’s door collection and Arlies School raised the brilliant amount of £77. | Claire did some fundraising in the school that she works at, Hazlemead Academy raising £143.67. Sadly Claire very badly broke her leg after, but Willberry was so pleased to hear it is now on the mend. |
Frickely Park Horse Trials have always been a huge support to HWWPC and yet again have kindly donated a wonderful amount to the charity of £673.57. | The Stables Equine Practice emptied their collection pot to see another £48.67 raised. They are kindly keeping a pot on reception. |
Panberry put his human (Declan) up for the New Forest Marathon, Panberry hitched a ride with Declan and offered him words of support thoroughout the race. Panberry is named after a very pretty polo pony, he keeps his humans on their toes and is always on hand to give them advise and does the training plan for the marathons. Declan and Panberrys efforts did not go unnoticed as an awesome £500 was raised. | |
Richard Mosely topped up a donation he recieved to £50. | Tincknells at Congresbury kindly did a raffle and had collection pots raising an aweseome £349.02. |
Rachael Nurrish owns Elysium Beauty Salon and she held a 20th Anniversary Ball, the event was outstanding and everyone enjoyed the evening. Willlberry was so thankful on the £3024.72 that headed his way. |
