Badminton Meet & Greet

Sir Fleurberry and friends from Fleur De Lys held a very successful quiz night raising £186.54. Sir Fleurberry was very grateful to all the chatting he's been doing to other berries as all the nuggets of infomation came into use for the general knowledge round.
Sporting Hares made a donation from selling their stylish caps that featured our very own Willberry on them. Raising £175.00 in total!

Phoebe Brazier (with the moral support of Teddyberry) completed the Imber Ultra Marathon on Mothers Day in memory of her mum, Sarah Brazier, who sadly passed away 20 years ago. It was a little more than a jog in the park, 33 gruelling miles in an awesome 6hrs 50mins!! Wow. Her justgiving page( https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/willberrywonderpony) is running (quite literally) at a fantastic £1383.

A team from Tractor Ted planned to run the Bath Marathon for ourselves and Farms For City Children. The same frustrating snow that called of our ball, also caused the marathon to cancel. There was no stopping the Tractor Ted team though who battled on. Two members went into Bath and ran the route and Jo decided to go ‘off-road’, apparently the drifts were very high Their sterling efforts were rewarded by raising £1170.00.

Hannah’s Willberry Wonder Pony Charity was overjoyed to be the official Charity of the Olympia Horse Show 2017. As well as getting to meet so many of our awesome supporters it was also great to raise £2633.00 towards Hannah's cause.

Claire payed us a visit at Olympia when she was on the hunt for her very own Berry Pony, but more important to speak to the #WonderPony himself about having a very special Willberry Wish granted.
Sadly Linda, Claire’s mother, had terminal lung cancer but she still had a lifetime dream, to go to the races. However Willberry’s help was needed, sadly Linda’s dream had a shorter deadline to become a reality due to her diagnosis. Nonetheless she was a fighter and determined to go before she became too poorly. Time really was of the essence with this one and Christmas didn’t help matters, but Willberry managed to send Linda and her grandson to Sandown on the 6th January. Not only this but they were treated like the VIP’s they are, with a stretch limo to take them there and a 3 course meal to keep them refreshed!

Linda said that she and Martin had a totally brilliant day (and the steak was the best she'd ever eaten!), the cherry on the cake was Martin ringing the bell for the jockeys to mount. The gorgeous smile and special thank you to Willberry and his team really is what gets Willberry up in the morning.
A special silver Willberry charm was gifted to last as memory, and this was indeed an incredibly special one. Sadly Linda lost her battle with that horrible C word on the 8th March, so Willberry continues to send his heartfelt love to Claire, Martin and the rest of Linda’s family.
